When an iOS or Android smartphone camera scans a Wi-Fi QR code encoded with standard `WIFI:S:SSID;T:WPA;P:Password;;` protocol syntax, the mobile operating system displays a native 'Join Network' prompt. Tapping the prompt connects the device directly to your Wi-Fi access point without requiring guests or customers to manually search for the network name or type complex passwords.
Our Wi-Fi QR generator supports WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Personal (the global industry standard), legacy WEP encryption, and Open (unencrypted / no password) networks. You can also flag the network as hidden if your router does not broadcast its SSID.
Your Wi-Fi network credentials never leave your personal computer or smartphone. The entire QR matrix is rendered 100% in-browser in local RAM. We have no backend database or logging infrastructure, ensuring your private home or office network credentials remain completely confidential.
Download the QR code as a high-resolution PNG or vector SVG, place it on a tabletop stand, wall plaque, or guest card, and ensure the code is printed with at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) width with clean surrounding margins (Quiet Zone) for quick optical detection from across a table.
