Compress Images Without Quality Loss
Our scanner utilizes client-side WebAssembly computer vision decoders (`html5-qrcode`). Camera frames and uploaded image files are processed strictly within your browser's local sandbox memory. No video streams, captured images, or decoded payloads are ever transmitted across the internet, ensuring 100% confidential scanning of private tokens, intranet URLs, and Wi-Fi keys.
Yes. You can click 'Scan Image File' or drag and drop any screenshot, photograph, PNG, JPG, or WebP image containing a QR code into the scanner. The decoder will automatically locate the finder patterns, correct skew orientation, and decode the payload instantly.
Browsers require explicit camera permissions. When prompted, click 'Allow' in your browser's address bar. Also, ensure that your device is accessing the site over secure HTTPS (camera hardware access is blocked by browsers on unencrypted HTTP connections) and that no other application is locking the camera feed.
Once decoded, the raw text payload is displayed with a 1-click 'Copy to Clipboard' button. If the scanned content is a valid web URL (`https://`), an 'Open Website Link' button is automatically provided for safe, direct navigation.
